Josh Underwood was raised on a horse, parents own the oldest weekly horse auction in GA, his mother showed Western Pleasure professionally, their children experienced all aspects of Western riding as they grew up, ranch work, games, roping, breaking, training and sales. Josh is an excellent roper with many wins under his belt, won his first saddle before he was big enough to carry it! He has trained many nice ropers and started horses for all disciplines no matter how docile or how rank, he's worked on the TB track, breeding horses, you name it he has done it. Currently starting all of Carousel Acres colts, home of Red Pepper Cat, Tammi Pettis' finishes them out for barrel futurities and sales. Josh also interned under one of the best farriers in GA for many years, he is an excellent, experienced shoer who works also work with the local vets for horses with various special needs. There is usually a waiting list, but his services are worth the wait, currently training at MC Ranch Arena, Satsuma. You won't find a better all around honest horseman.
